Before joining GreenScale, Ian was Senior Vice President of Operations at AtlasEdge, where he led the operations of over fifteen data centres across Europe, focusing on engineering, compliance, and sustainability initiatives. His experience extends across the telecommunications and managed services sectors, bringing a customer-centric approach to the development and operation of GreenScale’s high-performance data centres.
Ian’s passion for sustainability aligns perfectly with GreenScale’s mission, contributing to innovative solutions for energy efficiency and grid stabilisation. Ian has also played a key role in aligning operations with EU energy efficiency standards as part of the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact.
Outside of work, Ian is an avid Formula 1 enthusiast, travelling extensively to see races and embodying the same precision and dedication in both his personal interests and professional commitments.
