GreenScale and TSL: A partnership delivering AI-ready infrastructure through sustainable construction excellence

GreenScale, a new leader in AI-ready, sustainable digital infrastructure, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with TSL, a leader in technical engineering and construction operating across EMEA, the Americas and APAC.

This collaboration brings together two like-minded organisations united by a shared commitment to safety, sustainability, construction efficiency, scalability, and innovation.

Through a focus on constructing digital infrastructure that meets the highest technical standards while supporting long-term environmental and social responsibility aims, GreenScale and TSL will be well placed to deliver sustainable, AI-ready data centres. TSL’s turnkey capabilities and construction methodologies will be key to driving this forward,  with a focus on energy and water-efficient design, low Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), and minimised embodied carbon.

Shared values, complementary strengths

A key milestone of our partnership is the commencement of works on the RRY10 Campus in Foyle Port, Derry – a sustainable, scalable and globally connected digital hub. Site preparation continues to progress, with early works including land clearance, road construction and critical design phases well underway with a strong focus on safety, quality and community values.

Through their focus on turnkey project execution, as well as pre- and off-site fabrication, TSL will continue to provide a delivery model that complements GreenScale’s commitment to safety, efficiency, precision, and sustainability. TSL and Greenscale are particularly aligned on their joint focus on health and safety, recognising the importance of ensuring an active safety culture above all else. In recognition of TSL’s approach and commitment to the management of health and safety, they have been awarded the RoSPA Gold award for eleven consecutive years and have received two successive President’s Awards to mark their continued efforts to uphold exceptional standards.

Greenscale and TSL’s alignment with Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) standards further reinforces their compatibility, reflecting a shared ethos grounded in streamlined execution, modular methodologies, and active stakeholder engagement. Together, these strengths will be critical in driving forward our shared ambition to deliver exceptional infrastructure for our clients, built for long-term impact.

Driving execution excellence with shared purpose

“Infrastructure realises its full potential only when guided by a robust execution strategy,” says Torsten Stuhl, Chief Development Officer at GreenScale. “Collaborating with TSL as one of our trusted delivery partners equips us with agile construction methodologies and execution expertise, enabling us to create next-generation data centres with precision, speed and integrity. Together, and in concert with other like-minded partners, we aim to keep raising the bar for how sustainable digital infrastructure is designed, delivered and deployed, always underpinned by shared values and long-term vision.”

Adding to that will be a shared commitment to the ethical and environmental performance of the supply chain, an area that will meaningfully reinforce the value we deliver to our customers. TSL’s rigorous subcontractor selection process will prove crucial to ensuring alignment with ESG objectives, ethical labour practices, and project-specific sustainability goals, creating a delivery framework grounded in transparency and long-term responsibility. All of this will be underpinned by a safety-led culture that prioritises wellbeing and operational dependability, with subcontractors required to meet stringent EHS criteria. These uncompromising standards will enable us to more firmly deliver on our responsible ethos, ensuring customers benefit from integral infrastructure.

“As we move into an era defined by digital transformation and the energy transition, our role in creating the spaces that power this change has never been more critical,” says Jackie Wild, Group Chief Executive Officer at TSL. “Working with GreenScale enables us to bring our technical strengths in sustainable, turnkey delivery to projects that truly embody the future of digital infrastructure. We’re excited to collaborate on innovations in modular construction, predictive performance systems, and AI integration that will drive measurable impact.”
