We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Anna Dowson, GreenScale’s Senior Director of Sustainability, has been recognised in the Top 100 Women in Data Centres 2026 by Data Centre Magazine.

The list recognises women who are shaping the global data centre industry, highlighting leaders whose work makes an impact not only within their own organisations, but also across the wider sector. Candidates are assessed on leadership responsibility, organisational impact, industry influence, and professional recognition, with a focus on the real-world outcomes they deliver. 

At GreenScale, sustainability is at the core of everything we do, from design to operation, and Anna has been instrumental in bringing that vision to life. She leads initiatives that ensure our developments not only contribute positively to the energy ecosystem but create value for the communities they serve. Drawing on her extensive experience in building performance and sustainable design, Anna drives innovative sustainability strategies that make a real environmental and social impact. 

Building on her work at GreenScale, Anna also plays a leading role in shaping sustainability across the wider industry. A Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and Co-chair of the iMasons Climate Accord Power Working Group, she helps advance industry-wide progress on decarbonisation, collaborating with peers to set standards and share best practices for sustainable data centre operations. She also participates in professional networks and speaking engagements that accelerate the adoption of sustainable solutions across the sector.
